Academics

A primary goal of the University Honors Program is to provide an enriched learning environment which includes a unique set of experiences, e.g. tailored curricular offerings, personalized academic advising, and a wide variety of co-curricular opportunities, including tutoring services for a number of Honors foundational courses.

Honors Departmental Courses and Honors Seminars invite students to experience the depth of foundational, advanced, and topical courses. Many of our students also participate in graduate-level courses, directed and independent research.

A number of curricular and co-curricular experiences can be used towards UHP requirements. These experiences underscore the importance of community engagement, internships, research and extended learning opportunities.
