Transferring to UHP from Another Institution

Students who are admitted to the University as transfer students must have exceptional overall records at their previous institution(s) as well as strong performance in their proposed area of study and prerequisite coursework.

Admissions decisions will be made at the end of the academic year upon review of the applicant’s final transcript and on a space-available basis.  Applications to UHP are accepted for fall only.

In order to be competitive, students must have a minimum grade point average of 3.5.

Transfer students must be admitted to the University prior to being considered for the University Honors Program. Transfer students may apply for fall admission to UHP by the April 15 priority deadline. Applications will be accepted until June 1. The application for new transfer students will be available in January.

To graduate with Latin Honors students must complete a minimum of 60 graded credits and have enough time to complete UHP and major graduation requirements.
