Each week the University Honors Program (UHP) highlights news, opportunities, and upcoming events from around campus and the greater Twin Cities community. By attending these events, which include seminars, public lectures, info sessions, master classes, and more, Honors students connect with the vibrant intellectual environment of the University.
Honors students receive a summary of these events, opportunities, and news items via the Weekly News, UHP's weekly electronic newsletter.
The Honors program provides Honors students with a variety of informational and co-curricular events throughout the year. Informational session topics include studying abroad, getting involved in research, applying to graduate or professional school, and writing an Honors thesis. Co-curricular events bring together members of the Honors community to share their experiences and passions, and to explore the wide range of knowledge and expertise that exists at the University.
In addition to UHP events, the University Honors Student Association (UHSA) puts on many social, community-serivice, and academic enrichment events. A list of upcoming UHSA events can also be found on the Honors Events Calendar.
