Learning & Working Abroad

UHP strongly promotes student participation in the global community. Honors students are encouraged learn another language, immerse themselves in other cultures, make friends across borders through learning and working abroad. 

The University of Minnesota-Twin Cities has one of the nation's largest study abroad programs with hundreds of opportunities in 67 countries.

Study abroad may be as short as a May Term or as long as a year.  Study in Iceland, England, Spain, Hong Kong, Senegal, France, Chile, Norway, Australia or a host of other locations. 

Learning abroad may counts as an Honors Experience.
