Research

Early in their academic careers, Honors students engage in research under the guidance of world-renowned faculty, gaining knowledge and learning professional skills.  Research is integral to an Honors education and graduation with "Latin" honors.

Research topics and opportunities are unlimited.

Honors students find many avenues for creative experiences in their chosen areas of study.  Students may intern at the renowned Guthrie Theater, work on sustainable architecture projects with local firms, research costuming at the Goldstein Gallery, develop projects with local designers, produce film and video projects for the Walter Art Center, learn editing at the Minnesota Press, sing opera in “new spaces”, create dance as social commentary, merge art and technology in a project featuring “glowing, living algae as artistic expression”.

The possibilities are endless.
