UHP³—University Honors Professional Pathway Program

The UHP staff is currently working with the UMTC professional schools, e.g. Law School, Medical School, Veterinary School, Dental School, Humphrey School for Public Policy and others to develop early access to graduate programs for undergraduate Honors students.

UHP students with an interest in journalism will find an already well developed pathway program to an undergraduate Honors degree in journalism, with automatic admission as freshmen. This means that UHP students who wish to major in Journalism do not have to wait until their sophmore year to make application to the School of Journalism. Faculty advisors and personalized journalism advising are hallmarks of the freshman year.
