National and International Scholarship Advising is located in the Honors office, and serves undergraduates and recent graduates from all colleges at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. Our staff is available to help you:

• assess your scholarship potential
• identify scholarships pertinent to your interests and goals
• understand the details of the application process
• learn about the nomination process for some scholarships
• write an effective personal statement
• request letters of recommendation
• pursue a challenging academic program
• find appropriate co-curricular, community service, and leadership activities
• define your long-term goals
• prepare for campus and finalist interviews
• maintain balance and perspective in your life while competing for a scholarship
• learn as much as you can from the application process

Sally Lieberman, Associate Director
Sally has been helping U students to apply for (and win!) national and international scholarships since 1996. A lifelong Minneapolitan, Sally holds a BA in history from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Ph.D. in Chinese literature from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. Graham Lampa, Administrative Fellow
Graham is a graduate student in the Masters of Public Policy Program in the Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs. A recent graduate of Hamline University, Graham spent the 2005-06 year in Germany as a Fulbright Fellow.
